Hey 👋
We all know a startup when we see one, but what is it that makes it a startup? And when does a startup become a real company?
It’s been bugging me recently, as I’m not sure we ever fit the bill. Yet somehow, we’ve ended up with the label anyway. I put my thoughts down here, and I’d love to hear what you think. 🙃
Perception isn’t our only recent struggle, either. Have you ever had to break-up with a customer or a client? 😔 We had to make the hard decision to do just that and I share the painful experience here.
Part of what led to the break-up was the expectation to do everything. When customers ask us for new features, it can be hard to say no. So I tried to put in to words exactly why we do, and you can read it here. 📖
